- Steve Glade was born October 24, 1948 in Salt Lake City.
- He served as a missionary for the LDS Church in Oregon, Washington and Idaho.
- He received his undergraduate degree magna cum laude from Occidental College, where he studied choral interpretation and direction with Howard Swan and Hal Gibbons.
- He received his master's degree in comparative literature with distinction from Columbia University.
- He received his juris doctor degree from the University of Utah. Steve has practiced law in Las Vegas since 1980.
- Steve and Candy were married in 1970. They have three married daughters and five grandchildren (and counting).
